Laika Studios' stop-motion film 'Wildwood' received great reviews, but the studio had a tough weekend at the box office. The movie, directed by Travis Knight, was made over 16 years, was called a work of art. Even with positive reviews, Laika had trouble turning praise into ticket sales. The film was a success in its animation, but its commercial performance was not great.
